Lake SaifulMalook is one of the most beautiful tourist places in Pakistan. It is located near the village of Naran, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It has the magical beauty of heaven. If you visit Naran Kaghan and did not visit there then you certainly missed a lot. This lake is formed by melted glaciers. It is named after the Egyptian Prince who falls in love with a fairy beauty at this place. It is located at an elevated place so the weather is really cold there with the cold breeze. You must wear warm clothes and jackets when you visit SaifulMalook Lake. The color of water and the high mountains appear so near that you will certainly fall in love with this masterpiece of the Almighty.

When you reach Naran or Kaghan, you may spend a night at a hotel and start your trip to the lake in the morning. You need to hire a jeep or 4 x 4 vehicle from Naran or the hotel you are staying in. In the summertime, because of the tourist season, the rates of the jeeps are quite high. The road to Saif ul Malook Lake is very hard and bumpy. It is almost a 30 to 45 minutes drive on the so-called track, on the mountain. There are rocks and stones on the way and you will have the jumpy and bumpy ride throughout till you reach your destination. A strong nervous adult can travel on this road but usually, families with elders with a strong heart are also seen. After the tough travel, the scene of your destination point is worth seeing. This place is truly called heaven on earth. The Lake water is so clear and cold that it’s hard to put your feet in it. Unfortunately, the beauty of this place is somehow ruined by visitors by throwing litter. Otherwise, the view, the air, and the atmosphere of this place are an unforgettable experience.

Besides sightseeing, this place can be enjoyed for activities like boating, horse riding, and ice sliding on a hill. There is a snow hill where you can slide on the tyre and it’s quite a funny and nice experience. The water of the lake is tranquil and you can enjoy boating there. There are also many food stalls serving tea, pakoras, boiled eggs, and some dishes for lunch. You must visit this unforgettable place once in your lifetime.
